What key coding actually involves
Modern car keys contain a transponder chip that has to be registered to your car's immobiliser system before the engine will start — simply cutting a blank won't get you moving.
We connect directly to your ECU and immobiliser module to register a new key, remote or keyless entry fob, whether you're adding a spare or replacing every key you have.
All coding is carried out on-site, so in most cases you're driving away on the same visit rather than waiting on a dealer appointment.

What we'll ask you to bring
Because key coding gives someone access to start and drive a car, we ask for proof of ownership and photo ID before coding any key — especially where every existing key has been lost.
This is standard practice across the industry and helps protect you, not just us. It's a quick check, not a hurdle, and we'll tell you exactly what to have ready when you book.
V5C Logbook
Showing you as the registered keeper, or documentation confirming your right to authorise the work.
Photo ID
A driving licence or passport matching the name on the vehicle documents.
Proof of Address
Occasionally requested alongside ID for lost-all-keys jobs, as an extra security check.
